Our typical students are IT professionals interested in learning or expanding Linux engineering skills in order to increase career prospects, job performance and/or job stability. Additionally, technical managers and IT security staff who are responsible for managing and/or securing Linux solutions also benefit from our courses.
In order to succeed, our students need a minimum of two (2) years of previous IT experience in system administration, networking, application development or IT management.
in their own words...
[the instructor] was very knowledgeable and knew the subject matter very well. His teaching skills [were] superb!
This was an eye-opener for me about the use of Linux. I had used it before, but in a strict environment where I learned to perform one task only.
I liked the fact that hands-on was a priority in the class.
This was a fantastic class. Although I had some experience working with Linux, I realized quickly that I was learning from a leader in the field. I picked up far greater knowledge about Linux Administration in 5 days, than in the previous year alone using books and trade rags. Great class, excellent instruction.
I started the class with very minimal experience with Linux. The class gave me an excellent foundation to being able to effectively work with and further my experience with Linux.
Very well conducted class, love the hands-on approach...I plan on taking the next class...
This course offered a good introduction to the Linux system and gave me the information I need to continue learning on my own. As I become more proficient, it would be good to come back and take a higher level class.
The class was great, and Richard was an excellent instructor. He really paid attention to each student and made sure they understood what they were doing the whole time, which made learning the material a lot easier.
