ONS130: LINUX FUNDAMENTALS
The Perfect F.I.T.
As with all of SteelPivot classes, this course is built upon the Full Immersion Training (F.I.T.) methodology and is designed to provide extensive hands-on experience in a live environment that the student builds from scratch.
Course Summary
The ONS130 – Linux Fundamentals course is an intense three (3) day program focused on helping students gain the knowledge and skills required to install, navigate and administer the Linux Operating System.
The Linux Fundamentals class is designed for IT professionals that want to expand their experience and job prospects by learning to install, configure and manage Linux servers.
This comprehensive course will help students start down the path of mastering the Linux Operating System from a vendor neutral perspective. As with all of our training courses students also gain valuable real world hands-on experience.
At SteelPivot, we employ an aggressive 100% hands on training style, using instructors who are senior Linux and Network engineers. Our focus is on the “why” and not just the “how.” Our students truly understand how Linux works underneath the hood, and students develop skills that go far beyond the typical “which icon to click” training style.
As a result of our learn by doing approach, the majority of our class time is devoted to configuring and testing increasingly complex real world application scenarios on live networks.
